Press Release from Texas Eagle Forum
SAVE Marriage in Texas
Please ask your State Rep. to vote FOR HB 4105.
Then contact Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick at 512-463-0001 and firstname.lastname@example.org and let Lt. Gov. Patrick know that you want him to pass the Texas Senate companion bill to HB 4105 which is SB 673 by Sen. Charles Perry.
Finally, contact Gov. Greg Abbott at 512-463-2000 and at email@example.com. Encourage him to support the passage of HB 4105.
HB 4105 is a simple, two-page bill that affirms our existing law and also defunds homosexual marriage. This law will enable our Attorney General Ken Paxton to safeguard Texas against the potential upcoming judicial supremacy by the U.S. Supreme Court. The passage of HB 4105 now will enable Texas to defend against the imminent out-of-state pressure to impose homosexual marriage on Texas beginning the last week in June.
HB 4105 includes these provisions:
(d) A state or local governmental employee may not recognize, grant, or enforce a same-sex marriage license.
(e) State or local funds may not be used to enforce an order requiring the issuance or recognition of a same-sex marriage license.
Under HB 4105, any county that attempts to perform homosexual marriage will not receive any funding for it. HB 4105 will save Texas money … and Texas sovereignty.
HB 4105 is the litmus test for Republican State Legislators and state wide officials. We must prevent those who practice and promote sodomy, and advocate the desecration of Biblical marriage from influencing the Republican Party and dominating Texas politics.
Please ask these members to vote HB 4105 OUT of committee.
HB 2078 by Rep. Rafael Anchia would CREATE a new Global Climate Change Commission to create a “comprehensive inventory and forecast of greenhouse gas emissions from 2000 to 2030.” This is probably the WORST bill filed this session because its true target is Texas’ number one industry: oil and gas. Even so, it’s scheduled for a Public Hearing on Monday, April 20 in room E1.014 at 8 a.m. in the International Trade & Intergovernmental Affairs Committee.
HB 2080 by Rep. Rafael Anchia would create and implement a greenhouse gas emissions reduction plan. It is also scheduled for a public hearing in the same committee as above.
HB 2571 by Rep. Rafael Anchia further embraces the HOAX of manmade “climate change” by requiring the Texas state climatologist to forecast a number of resources for up to 50 years into the future, which is IMPOSSIBLE to take into account scientific advances. These 3 bills would impose the the United Nations’ RADICAL ENVIRONMENTAL agenda on Texas.
Please call the Committee members and ask them to OPPOSE both HB 2078, HB 2080 and HB 2571. When the UN calls for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, its primarily target is carbon dioxide, which is GOOD for our environment because it aids plant growth. Plants, in turn, emit oxygen, which is good for humans. The air we breath contains roughly 78.08% nitrogen, 20.95% oxygen, 0.93% argon, ONLY 0.038% carbon dioxide, trace amounts of other gases, and a variable amount (average around 1%) of water vapor.
HB 2078, HB 2080 and HB 2571 would prepare Texas for the ECONOMICALLY DEVASTATING United Nations greenhouse gas emissions treaty that Obama is expected to endorse upon its completion in Paris, France this December.

A Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, April 21 in room E2.012 at 9 a.m. in the Natural Resources and Economic Development Committee. Please ask these committee members to vote SB 1298 OUT of committee after the hearing.

Tan Parker is the House bill that would protect the electric grid aPublic Hearing is scheduled in the House State Affairs Committee on Wednesday, April 22 in the Reagan Building at 10:30 a.m. or upon adjournment of the House. HJR 77 by:
could open our U.S. Constitution to extremely damaging changes. Once a convention is called by the states, the Congress would take control. HJR 77 has been sent to the Calendar Committee. Please ask the Calendars Committee members to NOT schedule HJR 77 for a vote on the House floor:
