Isaiah 62:6 ~ I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence…

Are we as a church preparing ourselves for future leadership with respect to what is really happening in colleges and universities, or are we just like the ostrich putting our head in the sand? In this article there are two stories that I am particularly concerned about that I will bring to your attention. Both articles point to colleges and universities.
I have, in previous articles, spoken on the ostracizing of Christians in many different spectrums of society. However, it is very alarming to me that our higher education institutions are some of the worst offenders. Most colleges and universities would say that they stand for free and open dialogue and encourage healthy debate, but I am finding out this is not the case in some learning establishments.
Let me just give just an example of one such college. There is a professor named Dr. Ross Avilla who teaches Introduction to Psychology, and lectures at the University of California-Merced. The area I deal with is how a dysfunctional lifestyle is laid on one’s own and others’ foundation (soul). If you are not familiar with this, I would encourage you to examine my website below.
Let’s look at Dr. Ross Avilla, Professor of Psychology at University of California-Merced. Dr. Avilla who is teaching young impressionable minds is putting forth some very scary, damaging comments:
~ 90 percent (of U.S. Terrorist attacks) are these white, Caucasian men.
~ And by the way I am not saying white are evil, but that is what we should thinking about.
~ Usually they are people who are religiously motivated and politically conservative.
~ And these are the type of people we always think of being like to be really against terrorism.
~ That’s right, in fact, 9/11 is basically the only act of foreign-born terrorism that has ever happened in the United States.
This is just a sampling of some of his speeches. In my opinion, this is hate speech and should not be tolerated on our college campuses.
What I took from this is that 90 percent of white males are undertaking terrorist attacks in the U.S. Also strongly suggested, is that 90 percent of all white men are evil, especially if they are religious and conservative.
I’m almost positive that this professor would not discuss the true threat to our safety, which is Islamic terrorism. What I would call this professor is an ideologue pushing a certain agenda in his classroom that will line up with other colleges in an attempt to ostracize all white Christians. The final result agrees with the Muslim agenda of eliminating all Christian opposition to their agenda. Find the evidence in this college student-recorded video titled, “College Students Taught Most U.S. Terrorists ‘Conservative White Men’.”
Another story concerns a professor from Kent State University in Ohio, whose name is Julio C. Pino. This professor teaches Latin American History, Third World and Introduction to Psychology courses at Kent State. He is also tenured (a permanent post, especially as a teacher or professor).
Julio C. Pino grew up as a Christian, but in the Year 2000 Julio became a Muslim. He sent a scathing open letter to the History News Network for publication, and addressed it to, “Dear academic friends of Israel.” Professor Pino wrote in certain parts in the letter to Friends of Israel that “Your names are scrawled on every bullet fired, bomb dropped, body buried and burnt forehead in Gaza.”
There are reports that the FBI is also investigating Professor Julio C. Pino with respect to ties with ISIS and trying to win students over to ISIS. This is exactly my greatest concern with young, impressionable minds. He is trying to push his radical, Muslim agenda even possibly to recruiting for ISIS. Because he is tenured it is almost impossible for him to be fired. What a shame that this could be occurring on our campuses of higher learning. My question to Kent State is… Are you just looking the other way in hopes that this powder keg doesn’t explode and bite you back with a terrible outcome? This shows me a boatload of dysfunction in education within our own borders.
After reading both true stories are you going to be an Ostrich? Or, will you prepare your children by exposing them to the truth? It is never too late to do something!
