The production of Rogers and Hammerstein’s musical, “Annie Get Your Gun” will open July 8 with regular seating at 7:30 PM. Other regular seating performances at the Talent Box, a nonprofit community theatre, 244 N. 4th Street, Wills Point are July 9 at 7:30 PM and July 10 and 17 at 2:00 PM. Dinner theatre performances are July 15 and 16 at 6:30 PM. Limited seating may be available during the Dinner Theatre performances. A reception will be held after the opening night performance. It is regretted that the stair lift is inoperable.
Admission for this production, Adults $15.00, Seniors and Students $13.00 and Children 12 and under $10.00. Dinner theatre admission is $22.00 per person with $15.00 for Children 10 and under. The story, “Annie Get Your Gun” is a musical with lyrics and music by Irving Berlin and a book by Dorothy Fields and her brother Herbert Fields. It is a fictionalized version of the life of Annie Oakley (1860-1926), a sharpshooter who starred in Buffalo Bill’s Wild West, and her romance with sharpshooter Frank Butler.
