THE WATCHMAN: Immigration Policy Run Amok (Part 1)
Isaiah 62:6 ~ I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence…
Hosea 4:6 says, My people are destroyed (cut down) for lack of knowledge (cunning or unaware) or more clearly, My people are cut down for not having information and/or in a position of being caught unaware and unprepared for what they are facing or about to face. There are two words that are key to understanding the above scripture. These words are…destroyed, which means being cut down, and lack of knowledge, which means caught unaware. Many people spew out rhetoric of which they have no knowledge and are, therefore, in a position for being cut down or destroyed.
I have noticed for a very long time, the far left complaining that Americans should not call illegal immigrants, illegals because that is racist and not politically correct. Some say they are not illegal because they contribute to the U.S. economy. The far left is poised and ready to attack with such a transient madness: (a mental act; causing outside of the mind) berating, to scold or rebuke anyone who dares question the difference between illegal and legal. It’s not rocket science. As soon as any one crosses our borders without a proper visa, they are classified as illegal. With a work permit or visitor’s permit, they can stay a certain length of time, but anything over that time period is against the law. I personally know that Mexico and Guatemala both have very strict immigration policies, and will put you in jail if you overstay your allotted time.
Let’s examine the definitions of legal vs. illegal, so that we can perhaps, be on the same page. The definition of legal: deriving authority from or founded on law; and the definition of illegal: not according to or authorized by law, UNLAWFUL. ALSO, not sanctioned by official rules (as of a game)-illegalize: to make or declare illegal—illegalization.
Immigration has been turned upside down in this country so much to the point that we have sanctuary cities, illegal immigrants sitting on city councils, and millions of illegals on the social welfare system that legal Americans work to pay taxes, in order to sustain them every day. Yet, if our voice is raised in opposition to such insanity, we are called racist. I, for one, have no trouble with legal immigration, but believe that the United States should be able to set the policy and numbers for such, without hindrance.
My plan for the next several articles is to expose the lies and deception with respect to immigration. Our government has been elected to protect the American citizen, and many times we see the illegals being protected instead. This has come to the forefront recently with demonstrations in which police are finding themselves protecting the wrong people and told to “stand down.”
I will expose Mexico’s strict immigration policies and show how hypocritical they are when complaining that we want to build a wall. In fact, Mexico has a wall between them and Guatemala. There are already over 12 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. Almost all road building, roofing companies, etc. are staffed with illegal immigrants. Just notice when you drive by a road crew. Most are not legal and can’t even speak our language. My wife stopped and asked a supervisor over a work crew at the Drivers License building, why all the workers were Mexican when there were many Caucasian and Black Americans out of work. He didn’t know what to say. When illegal immigrants cross into our country they have full access to health care, food stamps, and other social welfare programs. However, if an American citizen crosses into Mexico illegally, the very first time it is considered a felony under Mexican law and carries a two-year prison sentence.
Interesting to note… if you cross the United States borders as an illegal immigrant, your first offence is considered a misdemeanor, but if you get caught crossing for a second time it is considered a felony. Do you see the difference between Mexican immigration law, versus United States immigration law.
CNN Wolf Blitzer spoke with the President of Mexico on its southern border and Mexican Law. The truth came out in one word: hypocrite. The Washington Times said “Under the Mexican Law, illegal immigration is a felony punishable by up two years in prison. Immigrants who are deported and attempt to re-enter can be sentenced to six-year terms. Also, Mexicans who help illegal immigrants are considered criminals.
A key word in defining legal is deriving. This means to come to a conclusion from something known or assumed. In illegal, which is breaking the law, you can assume as a known fact that one is breaking the law according to Mexican law when one crosses illegally into their country. However, we have people still entering daily, illegally into the U.S.
I will be covering more on the sheer hypocrisy of Mexico immigration law, versus American immigration law and why America needs to push back and say, “Enough is enough.”
