Temporary Home of the New United States Embassy – Standing in the Arnona neighborhood of Jerusalem we can see the American flag waving over the American Consulate. This complex over the road and down a small hill will be the temporary American Embassy beginning May 14th 2018. As we approached the main entrance and took pictures we were asked by the guards to delete the photos. In 2011 I had to renew my passport and this is the building I entered twice to complete the task. The security even then was very impressive. I deleted my pictures and walked away with a smile knowing that my Government finally recognizes that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel.
Hundreds of Religious Jews carried out a Passover sacrifice ritual at the foot of the Temple Mount on April 2nd. The ceremony included the slaughtering of a lamb and a demonstration of the work of the Kohanim, (priests) and was approved by the Jerusalem Municipality, and Police. Assaf, a spokesman for the Temple Mount Movement adding that “when 10,000 will attend, we will do it up on the Temple Mount itself.”
