TxDOT Rural Transportation Improvement Program Public Meeting for Northeast Texas Counties
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will conduct an open house meeting on Thursday, May 17, 2018, to present the proposed 2019-2022 Rural Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The meeting will be held from 4 – 6 p.m. at TxDOT’s Tyler District Office, 2709 West Front Street, Tyler, Texas 75702.
The purpose of the public meeting is to gather public input on the proposed 2019-2022 Rural Transportation Improvement Program. The meeting will be an open house format so residents can come and go at their convenience. Staff will be on hand to answer questions.
The Rural TIP is a listing of federally funded projects that will be constructed or implemented over the next fouryears throughout the district’s eight county area of Anderson, Cherokee, Gregg, Henderson, Rusk, Smith, VanZandt and Wood counties. Maps and project listings will be available for review at the open house.
All interested parties are invited to attend this meeting to gather information and provide feedback. Persons with special communication or accommodation needs, including language interpreters, should contact TxDOT at (903) 510-9100 at least two working days prior to the meeting. Every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate those needs.
