TxDOT Open House to Address Plan Revisions Affecting Projects across Northeast Texas
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will conduct an open house meeting on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, to present proposed November revisions to the 2019-2022 Rural Transportation Improvement Program (RTIP). The meeting will be held from 4 – 6 p.m. at TxDOT’s Tyler District Office, 2709 West FrontStreet, Tyler, Texas 75702.
The RTIP is a listing of federally funded projects that will be constructed or implemented over the next four years throughout the District’s eight county area of Anderson, Cherokee, Gregg, Henderson, Rusk, Smith, VanZandt and Wood counties. Maps and project listings will be available for review at the open house.
All interested parties are invited to attend this meeting to gather information and provide feedback. Persons with special communication or accommodation needs, including language interpreters, should contact TxDOT at (903) 510-9100 at least two working days prior to the meeting. Every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate those needs.
Written comments related to the RTIP may be submitted at the meeting or mailed to the Texas Department of Transportation, Advanced Project Development Office, 2709 W. Front Street, Tyler, Texas, 75702. Comments may also be emailed to William.Tobin@txdot.gov. Comments must be received by Friday, October 12, 2018.
