Israel News Brief: Enemy’s Plan Thwarted
by Cheryl Hancock-Watts, Reporting on Location
The Lord heard our prayers and answered!
Revelation 8:4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand.
A former Arab Israeli Member of the Knesset (Government) and the Higher Arab Monitoring Committee, said a strike was called in coordination with Israeli Arabs and with groups in the Palestinian territories. But their plans were unsuccessful!
Today the Israel Defense Force (IDF) closed the borders and checkpoints and kept everyone away from the Bedouin Village where the Arabs were planning to begin the demonstrations. A friend told me that today they drove by the area and there was an extra checkpoint set up, but they saw no trouble.
So, no attacks, no rioting, and no one got hurt or killed! The Lord answered prayers and their plans were thwarted! I love when that happens!!
There is so much more behind the call to strike by the Arab leaders, so we don’t see an end to the problems, but I will write about this in another Update.
I went to this same village in 2003 with a translator and a few people visiting from the USA. The man in the picture was the head of the Tribe and offered us coffee. At one point I needed to use the restroom and I was led to an outhouse with sheep skin for a door. I’ll write more about our visit in another update.
Thank you again for your prayers, the Lord blessed us with a very powerful tool!
